This place is truly the best. Started going there when my car needed more than a standard muffler place could do. The guy there recommended Mid-Atlantic and I am SO grateful he did. I now go there for any work I need that they do! They are honest, fast, and just nice people. My step-father got a $1200 estimate for work at his mechanic and was ready to get rid of his car because it wasn't worth that much. I convinced him to take it in to mid-atlantic and they fixed it for $400 and had it done in a day. Can't recommend then enough.

I had an issue with my 2000 Honda Civic exhaust where one of the pipes snapped at the weld and the seam was rusting loose. I stopped here today after doing a bit of research. The reviews were great and I can see why. I took my SUV in because it started making that oh so familiar sound like something was wrong with the muffler. I was told what the issue was after about a 10 minute inspection. The shop owner said it would take about an hr to an hr and a half to fix...but not even 45 minutes later I was in and out. My truck is so quiet and im so happy. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service. I highly recommend. The price was also very reasonable.

I stopped in there on 6/8/22 and met with the owner he was very respectable, and they are professional and do a great job from mechanical to exhaust on your vehicles, only using the best parts and make sure everything is installed 100 percent correctly. And that's a lot for how most of these repair shops are nowadays. So if your having any issues with your vehicle I recommend stopping in and having them take a look.

Mid-Atlantic is awesome! I needed a lot of repairs done for inspection including custom exhaust work, engine mounts, brakes and came here just after 8 on a Tuesday morning. They took it right in and could handle most of the repairs (except new tires). Their prices were great and they even secured my front bumper for no cost - don't know how they did it but they did an awesome job. Chris was great and very communicative throughout the day. All told I had $850 worth of work done, another estimate I had gotten the day before told me it would be twice that for them.

These guys were great! Needed exhaust, suspension and brake work done and thought it would be a couple days but they finished it all in 1 day. Employees were nice & helpful. Explained what was up and what my options were & worked with me to drop off my car after hours. Will update in a month if my car suddenly falls apart, but I don't think it will. Definitely seems like a trustworthy shop.

This place is a GOD SEND! After getting quotes from other places, I was unsure about what was really wrong with my car. Then I remember taking my old car here and said to myself, "Go there they'll tell you the truth!" Due to COVID-19 they have limited hours, so I dropped my car off around 830am, they called at 9 to tell me the diagnosis, I told them go head and fix it, by 10:10 he called and said it was ready!!! It would be hard to find a more honest and competent mechanic. A small, private shop, using it requires more effort/planning than the corporate or bigger places, as hours are limited to 8 - 5 weekdays and appointments are not accepted. Yet it's so worth it! The staff at Atlantic Muffler and Break on York Road went above and beyond to take care of my vehicle, even though they were super packed with other customers for the day. Super informative throughout every step of the process, cleared the cost of each part of service with me beforehand, and did not try to haggle for additional work. They were honest and only did the work necessary to fix my car, telling me what things could wait to be worked on, without trying to sell me on additional parts and labor, or use scare tactics. They are a company you can trust to take care of you and your car , so don't be fooled by the location of their shop . Everyone I have interacted with at the shop has been extremely knowledgeable, professional, and as prompt as possible while fixing my car. I go out of my way to take my car to this shop, and I would not hesitate to refer it to my friends or family. Definitely an excellent choice for your car repair needs!

My Hampden mechanic recommended when he was unable to do a welding job on my front axle. Without the weld, the entire job was $1100. Because welding worked, I paid $175. Since then I have been back twice for work. I find them to be priced correctly and have been more than satisfied with work and customer service.

Friendly, fast, and very reasonably priced. One muffler shop I called refused to quote me a price on a resonator mid-pipe with for my Subaru, Midas quoted me $360, and this shop (Mid-Atlantic) about $200! The work was done in the time estimated and the man explained to me how using a flex pipe would accomplish the same thing as a spring kit and save me money. When it was all said and done it cost $190 including tax! I'm a happy customer!

Read the reviews online and wanted an aftermarket exhaust set up for my Acura RSX. First time around the set up sounded good, a little loud, but then the muffler started acting up and not sounding too hot. For the full stainless system I was charged 150.00 parts and labor. A little later down the road (pun intended) I picked up a new Borla exhaust and tip and the guys came through for me again. The car sounds amazing and they had the new muffler and tip on the car in under 30 minutes. Randy is awesome and will happily talk to you about cars and parts, a true car guy. Chris is all business, not as personable as Randy but a nice guy nonetheless. I HIGHLY recommend Mid-Atlantic Muffler & Brake for any aftermarket exhaust set up or modification, they're always willing to help and talk you through any questions you may have. Great place!

Randy and Chris are the BEST in the business! Hands down (and no i dont work for these guys nor am i related). I moved back to Baltimore after 8 years and needed a new Go-To mechanic... Randy and Chris are it. I had a great mechanic who relied on and trusted, but couldn't see driving 100+ miles to see him. I am very skeptical about who i allow to work on my Lexus RX330, and couldnt be happier with Mid-Atlantic. I recently had Randy change the Timing Belt, etc. on my car which is pretty big/tedious job. Randy was able to get a kit from one of his trusted suppliers that included everything for the job but the Water Pump which he bought separately... long story short.. the water pump blew 900 miles in while i was in North Jersey. Randy worked with me to find a reputable mechanic in the area who would replace the water pump and get me back on the road. Randy warranted and reimbursed me for the Part & Labor expenses 100%. You don't find REPUTABLE guys like Randy and his son Chris often. Don't go anywhere else. If Randy and Chris can do the job, take it to them. They are honest, provide very fair pricing, and will work to answer all of your questions/concerns. Really can't say enough good things about these guys! I'll take the Pepsi Challenge... Mid-Atlantic vs. Your Current Mechanic any day! PS - to the guy 'M' below.... you must have done something SERIOUSLY wrong to have these guys cuss at you. Knowing them like I do now, you more than likely deserved it. Think you ought to tell the FULL STORY... something doesn't smell right after reading your post. Sounds to me like your blaming others for having a crappy car that's falling apart!
